9th Grade Literature

1st & 2nd Semester

Description:

Students will explore the writing of various authors in-depth, and practice communications through writing essays, poems, and a research paper.

Goals:

Class will complete an in-depth series of short stories from authors around the world.We will complete the play Romeo&Juliet by William Shakspeare, Homer's The Odyssey and Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. We will also write a term paper.
